Diving tur in Mozambique

Far lesser travelled than most African destinations, Mozambique has a lot more to offer than one would think. With its endless stretches of white sand beaches, turquoise waters abounding in shoals of colourful fish, well-preserved corals, pounding surf and graceful dhows, it is a true hidden paradise.
After suffering through decades of civil war, Mozambique remained off the tourist map, but not for long! This paradise will soon be another one of Africa’s must-see destinations.

Whale Shark snorkelling

Mozambique is home to some of the world’s best scuba diving and snorkelling sites and untouched stretches of white sand beach.

This untouched and diverse coastline is an ‘all-rounder’, offering everything that can be found in warm tropical waters, as well as plenty of the larger species found in colder climates.
Due to the lack of tourism throughout the country, dive sites and coral reefs here remain in pristine conditions, full of life, while the passing currents and southern location keeps the waters slightly cooler preventing coral bleaching.

Everything from large whales and sharks to tropical clownfish and nudibranchs are commonplace when diving in Mozambique’s waters.

We run our Footsteps Diving tours at optimal times of the year, ensuring that conditions will allow for as many dives as possible.
